Claim and Set Up Your Beacon Seller Profile in Flywl
Set up your Beacon seller profile to publish consistent product listings across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Marketplace from a single source of truth.
Before you can publish listings or send private offers, you need to claim your seller profile in Beacon. This creates a verified identity for your organization across all three cloud marketplaces — AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Your profile is the foundation that Beacon uses to manage listings, assign FUIDs, and connect your marketplace accounts into a single source of truth.
Steps to claim your profile
Log in to Flywl and navigate to Beacon
Sign in to your Flywl account at flywl.com. From the main navigation, select Beacon to enter the seller control tower.
Click 'Claim Your Profile'
On the Beacon home screen, click Claim Your Profile. Beacon will immediately search its pre-built catalog repository for your company name and any products already associated with your organization.
Select your company from the results
Review the search results and select your company. If your organization isn't listed, click Add New and enter your company name, website, and basic details to create a new record.
Review your auto-populated product data
Beacon pre-fills your product catalog using data from its repository. Review the auto-populated fields — including product name, description, categories, and pricing model — and make any corrections or additions needed.
Assign or request a FUID for each product
For each product in your catalog, assign a FUID (Flywl Unique ID). If your product already exists in the FUID registry, claim the existing ID. If not, request a new one. FUIDs create a consistent, permanent identity for your product across all marketplaces. See FUID for more detail.
Click 'Publish Profile'
Once your product data looks correct and FUIDs are assigned, click Publish Profile. Your seller profile goes live and is ready for listing management across all connected marketplaces.
What your profile includes
Once published, your Beacon seller profile contains everything Beacon needs to manage your marketplace presence:
- Company name and verified identity — your organization's confirmed record in the Flywl ecosystem
- Product catalog — one canonical entry per product (not one per marketplace), serving as the single source of truth for all listing data
- FUID assignments — each product has a unique 19-character Flywl Unique ID attached, ensuring consistent identity across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Connected marketplace accounts — your AWS Marketplace, Azure Marketplace, and Google Cloud Marketplace accounts, linked to Beacon for syncing
- Pricing model and category information — the commercial structure (SaaS, per-seat, usage-based, etc.) and category tags that Beacon maps to each marketplace's taxonomy
Claiming your profile is free and takes about 10 minutes. You can edit all profile details after publishing — changes will propagate to connected marketplace listings automatically on your next publish.
