CMDB

Configuration Management Database. The ServiceNow record of your organization's IT assets, including software licenses.

Compass

Flywl's buyer command center for cloud software procurement, commit optimization, and financial reconciliation.

CPPO (Channel Partner Private Offer)

An AWS Marketplace mechanism that allows a channel partner (like Flywl) to resell an ISV's solution via a custom private offer. The transaction stays within AWS Marketplace, preserving EDP drawdown.

Drawdown

The act of applying a marketplace transaction toward a buyer's committed cloud spend (EDP or MACC), reducing the remaining committed balance.

EDP (Enterprise Discount Program)

AWS's program that grants enterprise customers discounts in exchange for committing to a minimum spend level over a multi-year term. Marketplace purchases can count toward EDP.

FPO (Flywl Private Offer)

A Flywl-structured private marketplace offer that combines seller incentives, commit drawdown optimization, and Flywl Credit rebates for the buyer.

FPOP (Flywl Private Offer Promotion)

A Flywl program that adds cash rebates to FPO transactions for the buyer, without impacting the seller's quota.

FUID (Flywl Unique ID)

A 19-character universal identifier for SaaS products across all cloud marketplaces. Ensures consistent product identity and eliminates duplicate listings.

Hero Report

A CFO-ready document generated by Compass that summarizes a buyer's committed spend, drawdown to date, remaining balance, and top savings opportunities.

IP Co-Sell

Microsoft Azure program recognizing ISV solutions as eligible for co-selling with Microsoft's sales team. Includes Co-sell Ready and Azure IP Co-sell Incentivized tiers.

ISV (Independent Software Vendor)

A software company that builds and sells a product (typically sold through cloud marketplaces as a Seller).

MACC (Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment)

Microsoft's enterprise commitment program; purchases through Azure Marketplace count toward MACC with no annual caps.

MAC (Marketplace Acquisition Cost)

The total effective cost of a marketplace transaction after applying discounts, rebates, and incentives.

MPO (Multi-Party Private Offer)

An Azure Marketplace mechanism that routes a transaction through multiple parties (ISV + reseller/partner), allowing the buyer to use their MACC for the purchase.

Private Offer

A custom deal created by a seller for a specific buyer on a cloud marketplace, with negotiated pricing, terms, and duration — distinct from public listing prices.

Propensity-to-Buy Score

A Beacon signal (1–10) that aggregates buyer intent signals to rank accounts by likelihood of marketplace purchase.
