Flywl Credits: Earn Cash Back on Marketplace Purchases

Learn how Flywl Credits work — the cash-back rebate program that returns real money to enterprise buyers on qualifying Flywl Private Offer transactions.

Flywl Credits are cash rebates returned to enterprise buyers on qualifying Flywl Private Offer (FPO) and Flywl Private Offer Promotion (FPOP) transactions. Unlike cloud credits that can only be used within a specific hyperscaler, Flywl Credits are real cash — applied directly to your financial records and paid out to your organization on a regular schedule.

How Flywl Credits work

When you complete an FPO or FPOP transaction through Compass, Flywl calculates the eligible rebate based on the deal size, contract structure, and program tier. The credit is logged in Compass immediately after transaction close — no manual claims required.

  • Automatic calculation: Compass computes the credit amount at close based on the applicable program tier. You don't need to submit a rebate request.
  • Visibility in Compass: Credits appear under Credits & Rebates in Compass as soon as the transaction closes, with a status of Pending, Confirmed, or Paid.
  • Periodic payout: Credits are paid out on a regular schedule agreed upon during onboarding. Your organization receives a remittance statement detailing each credit included in the payment.
  • Proven program: Early Compass customers have already received over $250,000 in Flywl Credits — real cash returned on marketplace transactions that would otherwise have generated no rebate.

What qualifies for Flywl Credits

Not every marketplace transaction earns Flywl Credits. The following transaction types qualify:

  • FPO transactions: Any purchase completed through a Flywl Private Offer qualifies for the base credit rate. FPOs are custom, marketplace-native deals negotiated through Flywl directly with the seller.
  • FPOP transactions: Flywl Private Offer Promotions layer additional rebates on top of standard FPO credits. FPOP eligibility is determined by Flywl in coordination with the seller and does not affect the seller's quota.
  • Multi-year deals: Contracts spanning two or more years typically unlock higher credit rates than annual agreements. The longer the term, the better the rate.
  • New vendor transactions: First-time purchases from a vendor transacted through Flywl typically earn elevated credits compared to renewal transactions, reflecting the additional procurement work involved in onboarding a new supplier.

Viewing and applying your credits

Open Credits & Rebates

In Compass, navigate to Credits & Rebates in the left sidebar.

Review your credit balance

Your credits are organized by status:

  • Pending — the underlying transaction has not yet closed
  • Confirmed — the transaction is closed and the credit is locked in, awaiting the next payout cycle
  • Paid — the credit has been included in a completed remittance payment

Inspect individual credit entries

Each credit entry displays: transaction date, vendor name, marketplace channel, deal value, and credit amount. Click any entry to view the full transaction detail and the remittance period it's assigned to.

Receive your payout

Flywl processes credits on a regular schedule agreed upon during onboarding. Your organization will receive a remittance statement itemizing each credit included in the payment.

Tip

When negotiating an FPO with a seller, ask your Flywl account manager about FPOP eligibility — Flywl Private Offer Promotions stack additional cash rebates on your transaction without any impact to the seller's quota.
